    Drones

The battery on my machbox size one is 8 minutes and 15 minutes to charge it up. I'd say the bigger the better and if i ever get a 2nd drone it will have propellers the same size or bigger then a CD When I put the red propellers on my machbox size Drone it was better to fly. The black propellers that come on the Drone were 2.5cm the red ones that were in the box but needed me to fit them were 3cm

    Drive problem

Is this the OS drive or a 2nd drive in the pc or is it on usb If it's the first it's going to be a hard to fix if it's the 2nd or 3rd get a free app called partition wizard. https://www.partitionwizard.com/ Install to windows run it and see if the drive shows up on this and post back what it say's if this works for you.

    Drones

I have a Micro Drone 4" big and it's not that easy to fly "can not get it to hover on the spot" but I had a go on my mates 20" Drone and that one was a bit easier to fly So I'm going on the assumption the bigger the Drone the more stability you get in the air.

  5. I don't know if WD still do it but back in the day when they started doing Network drives they had DRM on them if you tried to stream some pirate movies and music it did not work I think it was the same thing that the PS3 did you had to download the file 1st and hope it did not blacklist that file from downloading as I say I don't know if the newer WD Network drives do this but the 1st lot did. here is the link http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/12/07/western_digital_drm_crippled_harddrive/ The one thing I will say is to get a NAS that can hold 2 or more HDDs as they are on 24/7 and the one drive units run to hot after a bit. If it's speed your after run in RAID 0 but if the data is important run one of the redundancy RAIDs for speed 2x2TB will give you fast 4TB space or 2x3TB in a redundancy mode will give you 3TB of safe data (if a drive fails you just pop it out pop a new one in give it a hour or two and your good to go)
  6. Just had a look and if I was going to get a NAS today it will be the DiskStation DS216 and for you 2x2TB WD REDs.
  7. Depends on what you will use it for if it's for media (Pic music video) then QNAP are the best the ones that have a HDMI on can run KODI from the nas the newer ones can even do 4K now. But if your looking for the best that can hold all your documents and let you access it all from a laptop tablet to mobile phone anywere Then Synology are the best. And then if all you are using it for is backup and recovery then Drobo are the best. I'm on my 3nd NAS now my 1st was a LG only had 1TB was OK till i run out of space (the HDD was fixed in and pre formatted) my 2nd one was a D-link had to put 2x1TB drives in it the UI was s**t. my 3rd is a Synology DS213air not the best one they do but it will on the last 2 i had it has 2x3TB drives in it WD-reds and after 2 years still going like the day i got it even better as the updates make it better now.
  8. I've been looking at Statistics covering the last 40+ years we have been in the EU from Internet sources (all bias in this day and age) I'd like to comment about one of the Statistics I've come across it's the U.K veto to block laws and treaty's from the E.U. The lowest source on the net i come across say's we have used the veto 55 times in the 40+ years we have been in the E.U the highest source say's 72 times how meny times have the E.U overruled that veto the source that say's 55 say's we were overruled 55 times the source that say's 72 say's overruled 72 times that's 100% of the U.K veto's that got overruled in the end. All the veto does is delay what the E.U is going to do. The closest we got to winning a veto was the single currency (but we won that one didn't we) no we only delayed it you see one of the veto's was David Cameron's veto to block a new EU-wide treaty to salvage the single currency the EU appeared 26-1 against Cameron at the time. UK could lose its veto right in EU if the EU had it's way and we stayed in by getting out we can still have EU laws and follow treaties BUT they will have to be passed by the UK parliament first (why do the IN vote think this is bad for the UK) And don't get me stared on the single market part of the EU.
  9. I know the best way for a synology nas it's called quickconnect (you setup an account on synology website then setup the nas to link to that account) All you have to do then is log in to website to get all your files or use the apps for music-video download manager. A lot of the nas manufacturers have some type of setup like this now as dynamic DNS is a pain to setup some times see if edimax offer this. Jamer if i remember from a past post you have a synology it's one of the best for this. The top 4 NAS manufacturers are QNAP Drobo Synology & G Drive is one is best for mac
  10. Did you find what you were looking for mate. I have a mate that has this charger that lets him recharger normal alkaline batteries upto 20 times + rechargeable batteries it cost him a arm & leg at £50+. I have been using eneloop batteries for the past 6-7 years the first lot I got stoped working for a bit till I got the Panasonic eneloop trickle charger for tham in this charger they seem to last longer too. It's the BQ-CC18 I have. The is a quick charger too but I don't know the model no for it.
  11. You had a look here mate http://www.survivaldepot.co.uk/
  12. Had a mate do this last year (as he had hes car keyed down the side) What he got (this is off the top of my head) Synology DiskStation (you can get the DS115j for £79 now nas has come down in price a lot over the last 2-3 years) you download a app called Surveilance station to the nas and phone-tablet (iPhone and Android) If you get this nas it includes licenses for 2 cameras (most of Synology nas includes a license for one camera for free) some of the newer one give you licenses for 2 cameras. WD Purple Surveillance Storage Hard Drive (video recorded from a IP cam to this hard drive is Tamperproof) A 2-3TB one will get you 2-4 weeks of recording before it starts to recored over the top of what you have. ANRAN Waterproof 2.0 Megapixel IP Cam Supports POE / 1920*1080 25fps / ONVIF protocols.

  17. "For those of us outside the censored UK" All the Rules & Laws (U.K & E.U) about freedom of information/speech & freedom of the Internet & this blocking still happens I will be moving to a small ISP when my contract is over that has not got any of this c**p (even so i know how to get past it) The only good thing about the ISP blocks is that they must put up a list of all the blocked sites (If you can not get on a site thats not on a ban list & it is your isp blocking it you can get out of your contract there & then) The was a lot of sites on the talk talk list I had never heard of & they are in my bookmarks now. So one big thank you to my isp for a list that helped me get a lot of free s**t.
  18. Sorry Jamer but AOL are the WORSE for spam Yahoo was my first e-mail provider way before BT got there hands on tham If you know how to use yahoo you will never get a lot of spam 1996-2015 in 19 years of using yahoo I can say I've had less than 100 spam in my inbox (and about the same amount of real e-mail have ended up in my spam folder) When you set up yahoo e-mail you setup a master address (this is the one you sign in to) you never give this one out to anybody (it's just for you to know about and for you to use to sign in on) from inside this e-mail address you then setup a sub e-mail address this is the one you then give out to family/friends and coworkers (It's very hard to hack this as the is no password to hack) you then setup the disposable e-mail inside the master you will have 500 e-mail address's to use for giving out over the web Here is a youtube video showing you what I'm saying
  19. Mail.com is good mate but you need to log in a least every 3 months to keep it live it's part of 1&1 but if you do a lot of online shopping use a smartphone gmail may be better Works for iPhone and android.
  20. I got me a combination microwave back in 98 and I'm still using it now (It's a 1000w DAEWOO edition-I) it's lasted this long as I give it a full clean out every 2 weeks and always keep it on (never switch it off unless your cleaning it) when you use one it will do a cool down for 5-10 minutes after you use it this will expel any condensation. I had a mate that had one and he was turning it off at the wall and not letting it do the cool down it did not last long. The only thing about the one i have is it was white when i got it but it's now gone beige lol. If my one gave up tomorrow The LG MJ3281BCS will be on my short list (it will be a very short list)
  21. If you have a smart phone you can on most phones block the number on some phones you will need to get a app to do this but if you don't have a smart phone or do not won't to use a app you can set the number to go to voice mail or the 2nd trick is to set your call forwarding for that number to that number so when they call you it will be the engaged tone + they will have a missed call.
  22. The is a floor to that lock what if some body jams in some c**p and i will not let you use your key anymore.
  23. I have all 5 types but only ever opened one lock using just the one bump key Using a bump gun is better
