Sakura 8 Report post Posted November 25 The only info i can find is on this page https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/social-care-and-support-guide/care-services-equipment-and-care-homes/walking-aids-wheelchairs-and-mobility-scooters/ Get help with costs You might be able to get a grant or help from a charity. https://www.bettermobility.co.uk/charity_funding_options.php Better Mobility has a list of charities that can help pay towards a scooter. The Motability Scheme can help if you want to hire or buy a mobility scooter. It allows some people to use their benefits to pay for one. Other than that I dont know sorry
Alloneword 111 Report post Posted November 26 Are you not on PIP for mobilty Dave this adds a fair amount of money i understand even enough to cover the cost of the hire of a scooter, if you have applied and been turned down let me know via PM and i'll see what i can do for you
