What a pleasure to see such treasures such as this fantastic Caravaggio, other works on display from El Greco, Monet, Dali , Degas & Picasso certainly worth a trip.

 

Here are some pictures that I have taken recently, had a play around with HDR
 

 

I love taking my camera to work and when it's quiet looking for some interesting shots.

I have just treated myself to a dedicated macro lens, I plumped for the Sigma 105mm Macro lens with a Nikon fitting. I chose this over the Nikon 85mm Micro filter. Pics were sharper with the Sigma. Only thing is the weight of the Sigma is a bit higher than the Nikon lens. All these pics were taken holding the camera freehand, but I think the monopod is going to get a fair bit of use.
 
These are from the first batch of pics taken. I will play about with distances if the weather holds, try and get more of the image in focus. I will post more pics if anyone interested.

Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner has died at the age of 91.

In a statement, Playboy Enterprises said Mr Hefner died peacefully at his home from natural causes.
