  1. The easiest way to get past this is to use a VPN but the are some free tricks like NOT using Google for search results. I've being using alternative search engines and all the big ones are a no go if your trying to get past Online Safety Act but some of the less known search engines are very promising and the one I'm using the most at the moment is gigablast and this is one for the bookmark and what makes it stand out is you can use it the same way as google but you get two links per result "standard" and "Anonymous Proxy" if you click on standard you will hit UK censorship but click on Anonymous Proxy and it will open that link over the Tor network you even have a Share Tor link button so you can share a weblink uncensored this is good for sending links to people you know don't have a VPN or if you don't know if they have one or not. https://gigablast.org/

  2. It's the UK ID system all over again this time they have sneaked it in as age verification with photo ID This is the first bit of regulation from Ofcom as Ofcom is now the online safety regulator. I have an account on a site that I opened back in 2003 yes 22 years ago but I know when I login to tomorrow I will be asked for age verification to prove I'm over 18 when they already know I opened the account 22 years ago. (It's this bit that will annoy people) This will end up as needing a online passport and will not stop kids from using proxy/VPN to access things from outside the UK. What are your thoughts on this.
