djweeble Posted March 17, 2014 Share Posted March 17, 2014 HEADS UP peopleThere's a new Facebook worm going round through the messaging system.If you receive a message from someone named Daa Watson, DO NOT open it, not only is it a scam similar to the Nigerian 419 (google 419 scam if you don't know what that is), but if you open it, it will retrieve your friends list and then send itself out to all of them as well.If you see the name Daa Watson in your inbox, send it to archive IMMEDIATELY, WITHOUT opening it, you cannot delete it, but if you block Daa Watson it will then disappear from your archive.To stop any possibility of getting this message, or to get rid of it if you have it, go to your security settings and block Daa Watson from contacting you.I had my messaging set to "Friends of Friends", so I'm assuming that it gets round the settings some way as well, because it showed up in my inbox this morning.Remember, DO NOT OPEN IT, just bin it and block the sender.
