Hi Jamer, you may or may not have noticed i have not posted since sparks has left, I just wanted to let things calm down but tonights comments by some people is the final nail in the coffin for me, if you value the input I have put in to Jamers over the last xx number of years please do me a favour and wipe my account, i feel it's not much to ask given the time and effort I have put in here.

 

I'd like to thank you for making this place my default location after my home page loads for many years now and as a rule it's been great but I don't see the need for some of the recent comments that have been made, I'd also like to thanks the like of Mr D, DJ, derren, Edge, RABC, Orge, Sir Zorro, greenmachine (Thanks for the motherboards m8, still working as a server) and of course yourself for helping me learn so much over the years.

 

I'll be checking in Wed some time hopefully my account will be gone, I know sparks asked the same and his account is still active but please Jamer do this for me.

 

One final word must go to Dave (The Mod), Dave you are a true Gent and i only wish I had you as a friend away from the board, I cannot tell you how much i have valued your frindship, I wish you and your family all the best for the future m8, take care. :Thumbs_Up1:

Clive, I would urge you to please have a re-think, you are a valued member on the pad you have been around here for years and I for one would not want to loose you as a member.

Maybe take a week off and let things cool down.

I am sure that we have all said things in hast in the past either on the forums or via emails or pm's and I am sure if sparks were still active he would also be adding his usual comments too, so some things have not changed.

As for deleting accounts, I do not delete accounts, I also explained this to sparks, however, you can change you personal settings yourself within your profile so as you do not receive any notifications if you prefer.

Over the years I have spent large sums of money and time on keeping JamersPad as up to date as possible, countless hours of work and at times when we were hacked. The Pad has been online now for 15 years, and yes we have seen members come and go but to be honest we have a core membership of loyal regular users and you fall within that group and while I appreciate you have remained loyal to sparks I am not convinced that he would of been as loyal to you.

I value all our members and given the choice I would not want any of you to leave but that choice can only be down to the individual. I would just say sleep on it and I think you will find that it will all calm down, it usually does.

Okay folks lets calm it down now please and get on with getting back to normal. I will not tolerate abuse to other members as sometimes it goes to far!! We all have our own opinions.

The forums are a lot more active since the date of sparks departure, now that may just be a coinisidence but over time we will see.

Well if you don't know by now but my GF is Polish. She gets a little annoyed as any trouble in the City and everyone says oh its Polish people, when half the time it's Lithuanian's, Romanian or lads from Russia.

Polish and Czech I know are allowed to work within the UK where as Romanian, Russian and Bulgarians are not allowed unless they are self employed. Obviously most Russians are here illegally.

Your choice buddy but to be fair I have tolerated loads of political posts which is not what the forum was originally about. I would prefer you stayed but that has to be your decision, dont really know why, because some disagree with you?

 

When you first came to JamersPad your posts were always about warez, apps etc.. but nearly every post nowadays is for a different cause it seems....

I think I need to get the forum back to how it was originally and maybe stop political post (I know everything can be deemed political, but I think you know what I mean) I would prefer that you were still part of that team but that is your call mate.

I have always posted my views, so I'm not sure why you perceive my original input to be much different from now...

 

And you should realise by now that people disagreeing with me has no effect on my views, unless they are right and I am wrong...

 

But censorship does affect me deeply, and for that reason alone I have to leave...

 

I hope you can accept that whilst that p*sses me off, I really do wish you well.

 

Hell, I even remember giving an almost running commentary on here during the birth of my second child, so at times it's been like (dare I risk a cliche) an online family here...

 

But principles are absolutely everything to me and sadly, though I shall be the loser, a divorce must happen!

To be fair when everyone was moaning about you and even some people you may think were your friends I still invited you to become a link checker and brought you into the staff domain, ( I wanted to make you a moderator but because I lot complained and suggested it was not a good move I found a way around it by inventing a new position of link checkers as a sort of stepping stone in between) I was criticized heavily by some for that move alone! So I think I have bent over backwards on more than one occasion to support and respect you. If you still want me to close your account I can but I would prefer to leave it in place.

I was caught on a bad day and to be fair I have tolerated a lot of posts and left them all untouched, the moderators here hardly remove any posts! but I just thought just because sparks is maybe an anti royalists why should we all have to put up with this rant! I explained to sparks that JamersPad is NOT a hate Britain or Royals site so I removed it before anyone else saw it, obviously he took offense to this being censored as he explained to me in his pm. As I have already said we RARELY remove posts in fact I think the moderators and myself included are far too soft sometimes especially compared to some forums. So you now have your answer folks, I think he over reacted myself but hey ho. Sorry Jamer but i have to say i think that point of view is sick.

 

Sure I don't agree with people on the dole having half a dozen kids and expecting everyone to pay for them but what happens if a family have 4 kids and husband is earning 100k and has an accident at home doing some DIY and is so badly hurt he can no longer work, shoul his kids get nothing?

 

I agree you have we do have to stop this so called job of being a mum or dad with half a dozen kids and in some way i think 2ndLoser has a point about US system, maybe 2 kids to be supported but if you draw the line at 2 then what happens if she gets up the duff again and is on the pill what do we do with the 3rd kid? Do we drag her kicking and screaming to get rid of the kid? or do we let her have it and then punish the 3rd for 3rd in the line after all it's not the kids fault !!

 

Before you ask i don't have the answer (wish i did) I just think all your doing is punishing the unborn child, there is no easy fix otherwise i guess some govt would have come up with the idea.

Obviously genuine people fall on hard times from time to time and that in my opinion is where the social security comes into play! in this instance it's a great idea, I have no problem with that, just annoys me when I see how much I am paying in tax each month to then witness the same people in the pub week in and week out and yes these are parents with loads of kids! and this is how they can afford to be in the pub! because we are paying for the lazy sods!

Radical preacher Abu Hamza can be extradited to the United States to face terrorism charges, the European Court of Human Rights has ruled.
