  1. OK thanks it was worth a try i done some digging on play and it was hit and miss for the E511S I will have a nose again and check out youtube and see what they are using, tried to today to get permission to fly on the thames today as city airport is shut, should give some decent footage if it happens. All1
  2. Gazza, Can i ask you to pick your son's brain for suggestion for an app that works on android, i have E511S coming and a smaller E58 All1
  3. That's intresting i thought you had to gain access from the top and that is what was causing me to look at a pro fixing it, i know the springs are only a few quid so i might go back in later and have a nose and buy the springs online thanks for the link Cobra
  4. Well for the drone i bought you need the licence as it's just under 300g, i will only need it for one or 2 days, IF i don't smash it in those 2 days you can have it for nothing Dave if your still of the A13 i can drop it down to you however it all depends on lockdown, i need to keep myself locked up for a lot of the time but as soon as we get the all clear hopefully 3-6 weeks than i will need 2 weeks to do stuff than the drone is yours so long as i do't kill it 🙂
  5. Thanks for the info Gazza (or your son) took 3 goes but go there in the end, now just need to find a suitable drone, mind you i think it said i could not fly with 150m of a building, looks like i won't be flying it anywhere in London, mind you could be fun up and down the river All1
  6. Well just signed up and took the test and got 15 out of 20 and a pass is 16 so just missed out and didn't even read the code before i took it so i'll take a nose at that this afternoon, and pay my cash, just saves any grief from plod, Thanks for the info Gazza All1
  7. Yea when i looked at them ages ago you needed to bolt one on but looking on ebay they come with 720p ad a min which is handy, saw a great one go yesterday for about £180 had an extended range of 1500 meters, but i didnt bid as no idea if it would be any good for my needs, so will be doing some reading this week on them and hopefully buy end of the week and sit indoors with it for another month b4 i can get out
  8. Thanks Cobra I have sent some email to local upholsterers as i don't know how to gain access to the point i need (as you need to come at from the top) just waiting to hear back from them thanks guys All1
  9. I may need a drone in the next few weeks )when this flaming lockdown ends) but never flown one, i would need somethingthat i could fit a camera on it and be easy to move, just like the old RC cars, not intrested in turning it upside down, just up/down/left and simple, any brands i should be looking at or will any old junk do and if it does not come with a camera what camera should i be looking for, my phone is an Android One (Xiaomi Mi A1, Android Pie i think with latest updates) trust me any input is welcome on this one, some idea of money would be handy i'd rather buy 2nd hand as i suspect it will only be used a few times All1
  10. Looks cool Jamer i have emailed them and hopefully get a reply soon, will let you know what goes one All1
  11. I'm not to sure if that would work but if i got some heady duty one's it might, I have been able to find replacement springs on fleabay (372018667667) but looking at the images i think i'm going to have trouble getting into the angle to fit the new spring, it will mean i will have to dismantle from the top down and i think that is beyond me
  12. Lose some weight you fat pig 🐖 Had the sofa for about 15 years i think it was a habitat, sat on it the day and pop my fat arse has broke one of the Z (curly) wires, i'm guessing i could get it welded (i think they call this stuff spot welding so long as i put some metal plate behind it, i have ebay'd metal cable ties and get some hits but no idea if they would work, i don't need huge long term fix just a couple of months, being in lockdown is not an issue as being classed as disabled nowadays i think i can allow someone to come and help me given my physical limitations nowadays, or better still any home fix would be looked into as well, have good access from underneath the sofa, but access from on top (which i bet i need) is going to be out of my range. So thoughts and comments welcome, oh yea happy fooking Easter All1 I don't know why i still sign All1, jusy a force of habit i guess
  13. What's app no good to me as i'm still running 7 and will not be moving up to 8 or 10, need to be able to make use of a video call
  14. Never used Skype before but i have had to instal it over the last week as i will need it for some online chats soon, instal has gone well but for some reason my mic seem to be failing. I have tried to skype someone on an ipad but he is no techno geek and im unsure if the problem is his end or mine, so does anyone fancy PM me their skype address so i can try and hit you up over the next few days and see if you can hear me? Also anything you think i should check before i go online? All1

  18. I saw a very intresting you tube video the other night which gave the impression it had been going round Chine for some time, let me see if i can find it but i have to say i take everything i'm told coming out of China with a pinch of salt, i mean if our powers BS us you can bet your life China are doing that and alot more
  19. Here, here i have been other forums over llast few months and we have been going about this covid 19 since the 10th Jan when someone posted THIS link so if bods like us have been aware of since then the UK Govt has no excuse, and now all the cuts they have been doing are coming home to roost, if we have had a better funded NHS we would not be in the doo doo we are now, but it's more important to show were open for business then protecting our NHS staff
  20. I think the idea behind staying is to ease the pressure on the NHS so 10,000 don't turn up in one week better to have 2,500 a week for 4 weeks rather than 10k in a single goal but if that is the case then certain parts of the uk will be on lockdown for some considerable time. stormbringer Christ man so sorry to hear this news, i hope everything goes ok for your buddy in ICU Eddie Large from "Little & Large" has died off COVID as well today ? All1
  21. Yes i'm still here ? Had everything set, found place time of time bought all the kit i needed and then we get this COVID s**t, I reckon i'm still going to be on lockdown for about another month IMO, someone on here will post when i'm gone as i will be putting someone in contact with a sibling who can confirm what has gone on and that person will post on here, so sad to say you still have me for a while yet so make use of me while you can. All1
