  1. Yes Jamer and what right do they have to keep it, I have no problem to being nicked AND having my DNA taken but once it's been checked and found i'm not wanted for anything it should be destroyed, the EU has even said the UK Govt is breaking the law and we still keep on doing it, and even if the govt said they would destroy would YOU trust them to honour there word, no matter what the colour of govt, ask Sparks he knows shed loads more about it then me.. All1
  2. Don't know about result m8 he still had all the grief and hassle on fingerprints and DNA taken, now if that was destroyed then i'd agree but as it stands now I'd be well p1ssed if i was him All1
  3. Money is no object to me m8 there paying for it :)Yep looks like screw "piles" will do the job, o how they will love me at the town hall :Hmm:
  4. I was wondeering if we had anyone in the house who knew about "Pile Foundations" i'm looking into a site that wants to use this method due to the current soil saying it's not suitable to other forms of foundations, does anyone know if they want to use this method if there is another option open to them, i don't want them to use "piling" method as it will rock the local area, if you need more info from me just ask. All1
  5. What a simple idea that would save a lot of grief just say it's lost then if they do screw it up then i can say i have found it, thanks for the suggestion Mr Grumpy.20,000 sod that I know it cost me about £500 to get my bike licence with all costs involved hireing the bike etc so god know what it would cost today. All1
  6. Yea but my worry is for years now i have seen/read about DVLA screwing up your entitlement to ride/drive, a while ago i saw a report on some guy who had PSV, HGV and normal car licence and sent it back and it came back with a full bike entitlement and sod all else plus he'd never riden a bike in his life, and he was a trucker and bang went his driving job, he was lucky he got a job in there office while he sat it again but it cost him/his boss a lot of money, this is my real concern and i can't even go back to the test centre and it's no longer running. 7. He's not been on here for almost a year m8. All1

  9. OK ta i'm out a couple of times next week so i'll check a couple out and see what they say cheers m8 All1
  10. Bingo m8. Hmmm any idea how much they would charge for that? I mean it must take all of 15 mins so guess i'm looking at £400+ :Hmm: All1
  11. Well got that DVLA thing come through this morning asking me to reapply for my photo driving licence (nother £20 for the poxy Govt) I know a few years ago there was an issue where DVLA were loosing what you were entitled to drive and hence people had to resit tests, Is it safe to send this off nowadays or are they still ballsing things up. All1
  12. I don't know about all that lot m8, mp3 is less quality for sure but did you even own a portable CD player? Hop skip jump carrying the damm things was a pain as well, i'd much rather have iPlod (pokes finger in own eye) then own a portable walkman again. All1
  13. I know my old 19" CRT gave a much better image then this new BenQ 24" thing i'm using now, OK thanks guys it's jusy Sue's little bedroom hi-fi is up the wall and wants another one and didn't want to buy if analouge was being turned of next year or something (like my tv signal) :Weep: All1
  14. Does anyone know what the deal is with DAB nowadays? I thought the usual 88-108Mhz was going in the bin but shed loads of hi-fi's are still being sold with normal FM. Is DAB dead or just going to run side by side with analouge for the next xx number of years. All1
  15. Shake his hand bung him £50 and tell to take her now...... Sorry m8 could not resit it. :Smiler:
  16. You can't stick your head in the sand m8, once you've read it there is nothing you can do about it, but IMO I find it hard to beleive and as you say I need hard evidence before i'll chnage my view on this guy, but stranger things have happened. All1
  17. What do I know? Don't know if it's true or not but if it is it's a real kick in the balls http://www.telegraph...orn-charge.html All1
  18. You lucky barsteward gogs, always wanted that bike (mind your your slumming a bit with the 1500 arn't you (as i cry into my corn flakes) always wanted to do the euro trip but always been worried about switching off and being on the wrong side of the road, so what ever happens enjoy it m8 (i'm sure u will) and i just hope you and Mrs get back in one peice stay safe buddy. Try and post some pics when u get back i'd love to see em maybe with the eing in the foreground and some nice hill behind, enjoy yourself. All1
  19. I must admit i don't want to buy from them but it's proving hard to find anywhere that does the european king size that offers decent customer reviews. Given most normal people (not you i know Sparks) spends hours in bed it has to be comfy for me and one person's firm may not be the other persons firm, if you get my drift. All1
  20. WOW, loads more outfits selling stuff then i thought even in Ikea sizes, now does anyone know of a decent site to look at that gives decent reviews of what your buying, I'll be looking at pocket Sprung and firm to very firm. I know Amazon's customer service is supposed to be first rate, and i have never had any issues with them, need to keep it under £400 to be honest. All1
  21. Rother I was always lead to beleive Ikea mattress were an odd shape hence you had NO choice but to buy from them, however given what Mr Grumpy has said i'll look into some other outlets and see if they sell these sizes and as he says look for "European Kingsize". All1
  22. Take that as a no then shall I? Oh well worth a try. Rother the mattress i was going to buy was just over £400 size was 160cm x 200cm so given what you have suggested i have looked at the National Bed Federation (NBF) and i'll give some of there members a ring and see what gives, i guess i have nothing to loose..... Apart from £400. All1
