  1. 'Justified' kind of infers 'justice'.... well 'justice' will very soon be dead in the UK! Two words to describe where this will lead.... Function creep!
  2. Dummies or not, is this what they think 'secure' means? http://www.telegraph...s-resident.html
  3. It's not happening according to the Government... Link Don't get sick, don't get old, and don't expect a decent education! The Condems and Neo Labour (in the words of another) should be 'taken out and shot in front of their families'...
  4. If 'they' were really trying to protect us 'they' wouldn't have launched their illegal wars would they... The 'threats' we now face are as a direct result of our policies abroad... Leaving aside the lockerbie plane (which could have fallen anywhere, and wasn't an attack on the UK), could anyone tell us of an Islamic inspired terrorist attack in the UK prior to the invasions of Iraq/Afghanistan?
  5. But All1.... Think of all those paranoid people whose fears will be put at ease that there won't be another september 11th... Of course any self respecting terrorist will take this as an allah given opportunity to strike elsewhere.... :Winky:
  6. We're going from 4 to 8...Did the figures on our first lot before killing them - 70p/dozen eggs, and £50/yr of high grade fertiliser... Perfect 'pets' - they pay us
  7. Err, I think with that statement you are the one that is paranoid.... And who's now getting 'political'?
  8. I'm sorry to be concerned about such a move in peacetime britain... But I guess you'd be happy to have missiles placed on your roof then?....
  9. 1. There is no need - it's just to fill a few pockets and be 'seen' to be doing something about a (probably non-existent) 'threat'... 2. Get the plebs to accept a continued militarisation program by their 'controllers' which will remain... remember - plod with machine guns at airports was a 'temporary' measure! Mind you, the biggest threat comes from the whole thing coming to a grinding halt due to incompetence - we can but hope!
  10. Including.... Missiles! No choice, just a leaflet through the door! Amazing how the CorporOlympics rides roughshod over anyone that is 'in the way'...
  11. Just the art of googling... And an afternoon with time to spare after our 'drought weather' put paid to my plans to extend our Chook run to accomodate some new arrivals!
  12. Just visualising the act of purchasing goods with said soiled items... Cue the music...... "This is not just an M&S voucher....." Mind you, after qualifying for a 'dine for two' promotion maybe you could both enjoy...
  13. You'd have thought that an 'incident' that may have had a good deal to do with sparking off the riots that has led to thousands of arrests, draconian sentences and widescale damage would be adequately investigated wouldn't you? After all, surely it is in the interests of everybody to show openess in order to prevent a re-run next time a similar 'incident' happens? Well it appears that some seem bent on another collision course! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-17843690 And why is this not happening? After all, we have to give interviews on threat of arrest, don't we? Of course we'll get to hear how the guy was killed, won't we? Despite it's obvious flaws, that's reasonable isn't it? So why the confusion? So by putting out mere speculation, a proper investigation is prevented... Nice to live in a 'democracy', not a police state isn't it! (I bet 'the 31' are p*ssing themselves laughing at how they can act with impunity!)
  14. Nothing like paying off a gangter is there.... The International Mother F*ckers are an evil organisation that up 'til recently most have been blind to or happy to ignore because they only asset stripped those 'failing' third world countries... A 'helping hand' from them is like taking out a payday loan on a long term basis! But now they've moved on to some western 'democracies'... See the chaos in Greece?...That's because the measures they (and the EU fir its survival) are demanding are beyond the country's ability to pay, and ordinary people are being shafted. See the chaos in Iceland?....Well no actually! The IMF would love to have you believe that they were the ones that sorted out the problems like a wonderful fairy godmother...The truth is very different! Iceland was forced into the hands of the IMF by (amongst others) US...We demanded money from the Icelandic people that they didn't have, so they were forced onto a radical program which would have f*cked their system for good.. The IMF (and their corporate and banking masters) had their eyes on the real assets: Now though the IMF holds up Iceland as a 'model' of how they sort out an economy: http://www.imf.org/e.../SurveyartF.htm However, they aren't really telling the truth as usual...Icelandic people were given a vote (well 2 actually) on essentially who actually should pay back the icesave debt - the bank or the people. The people voted for the bank, and guess what...bank assets have 'miracuously' been found that not only cover the debt, but they can even pay off the gangsters a bit early! http://www.imf.org/e...2012/pr1284.htm They will (hopefully) escape from the gangsters clutches with their welfare/health systems relatively intact... As for the UK? Well since we have no real resources (save some stolen dwindling oil fields), we are being slowly sucked dry....Osbourne's latest 'gift' is but part of the plan to get as much out of the UK before it collapses! (and I'm betting you will live to see it All1) And we'll never get a vote! Hence why our kids both now have two passports, and why some time in the future we'll be stocking up on warm clothes!
  15. Scraping the bottom of the barrel...? Sex Pistols decline invitation to play closing ceremony Mind you, the butter salesman might have a point... More corporate greed - but how ironic! But we still apparently have someting to look forward to.... Anyone else fear a 'cringe fest'?
  16. And of course no 'snide' remark from you then Rother.... It's always sad to see how there are still some who believe that if someone says something they may not agree with, that means that the other person should just leave.... Funny how your mask still continues to slip from time to time isn't it Rother... :Winky: I could of course suggest that you find somewhere more 'suited' to your views....But then I am thankfully more tolerant of prejudice!
  17. Probably no replies because the 'Titanic' has had saturation cover over the years! Mind you, it does make an apt metaphor for the country it was built in...Badly run, inadequate resources for all, and heading for disaster!
  18. Having recently tried to get a train ticket to the west country without needing a mortgage, I came across this article: That just about sums up Britain!
  19. I don't know if anyone else saw/heard the press conference with Aung San Suu Kyi this morning, but she was so dignified... She was so focused on her goal, rather than Camoron who was eyeing the profits to be made from trade - and droolling no doubt over Burmese Oil ! Occasionally someone crops up who spends their life devoted to a cause, and she is one of those despite her personal suffering. I was fortunate enough to visit Burma a year before she was first put under house arrest, and her name was already being mentioned in whispered conversations. I went to some places I shouldn't have gone too (playing a game of 'cat and mouse' with the inept 'secret' police), but as a relative 'youngster' then I didn't take enough notice of what her name/movement meant because it was a bit of a game to me! I was however shocked at how the people were suffering at the hands of their rulers, and donated virtually everything I was carrying in my backpack to the locals. I was after all able to head off to Nepal afterwards where a few dollars would replenish my supplies! In return I got the experience of being in the best country I have ever visited, and that is a total of 38 countries and (hopefully) still counting! Has anyone else here been to Burma?
  20. They'll probably find a way to put pressure on their poodle again and write another 'treaty' Kind of funny how some people think the current arrangement is ok though... Hmm...And yours was not a 'be-littling comment', eh Dazling? But a scenario for you: Police to Mr Dazling: "we suspect you were buying bovine fertiliser in readiness for an attack of some kind" Mr Dazling to Police: "I've never bought any " Police to Mr Dazling: "Not what we've been told" Mr Dazling to Police: "who said that?...what's the evidence?" Police to Mr Dazling: "don't have to tell you" Mr Dazling to Police: "I want a lawyer" Police to Mr Dazling: "Won't do no good - we don't have to tell him anything either" Mr Dazling to Police: "But I have cctv evidence, and a sworn avadavit from the archbishop that I was otherwise engaged at the time" Police to Mr Dazling: "not interested...oh btw, the septics have demanded your extradition" Mr Dazling to Police: "why?" Police to Mr Dazling: "why not?...don't have to tell you anyway" Mr Dazling to Police: "why not?" Police to Mr Dazling: "because nobody gives a f*ck about whether you've done anything or not" Mr Dazling to Police: "I don't get it" Police to Mr Dazling: "no, you never did"...."next"! It's sad to see so many who have no concept of the difference between a 'suspect' and a 'convicted person' when shouting for summary justice... It looks as if the terrorists are well on the way to winning if they have persuaded people that governments have the right to do what they like with people regardless of their guilt or innocence... Imo, the moral difference between a terrorist commiting arbitrary murder and someone advocating arbitrary execution is very small.... So well done for swallowing the rhetoric, and helping make the world a more dangerous place....!
  21. I'm surprised they didn't just kidnap them like they have done countless others... And then cover up behind themselves/ourselves... Link Since America sh*ts on even it's so called allies' political systems and the rights of their citizens, who exactly are the terrorists?
  22. I'm sure many will be glad to see the back of them... But what about the principles which have been ignored in this judgement, and are now routine? Is it ok for the british police to investigate an alleged crime committed in the UK (even by a UK citizen), then not give any evidence to the individual (or their lawyer), and pass it straight to another country's legal system/intelligence agency/police force? They then can extradite at will, and convict someone even if the 'crime' is not actually a crime in this country. Of course those living in la-la land will claim it could 'never happen to them'....Dream on ! PS. What do the Iraq, Libya, Yemen, and the United States have in common? A refusal to sign up to the International Criminal Court... We won't extradite (well legally anyway) to three of those, so why is it ok to the biggest abuser?
  23. The reason is, most people carry on with their every day lives thinking 'it couldn't possibly happen to me'... I'd be willing to bet that those parents thought exactly the same thing! Don't have a go at someone who has the ability to envisage what it would be like if it happened to you....or me!
