  1. Italy is about to go down the tube, and Euroland might very well break up... High unemployment, lack of resources, 'real' inflation high, rising unrest, standard of living plummeting.... Add to that the expansionism of China, America in decline, and a likely Israeli strike on Iran alongside all the other unrest in the middle east.... WW3 anyone?
  2. I have a few basic questions....!

    Stonehenge

That's really bad.... It could win Eurovision....
  4. Surprise, surprise.... Cover-up at St Paul's The f*ckers are all in it together...!
  5. Things may not always be what they first seem... one paper has amended it's reports so far.
  6. Our local force farce is doing a 'live event' online....lol Interplod!
  7. I wonder what would happen if any 'smaller' store were caught on film allowing alcohol to be served/consumed on the premises without a license?...
  8. Yep, he's been ousted... St Paul's protest: Canon Chancellor Giles Fraser quits Jumped before being pushed! Now expect a hardliner to push to disband the camp! I bet they are soiling their robes at the thought of our pigs behaving the same as their American counterparts ! Mind you a thought occurs..... If St Paul's were to reopen and plod gets heavy as usual if I were in the camp I might think of heading for the nearest 'sanctuary'... The response of the advocates of an imaginary friend would be quite interesting.... Since didn't that imaginary friend's son have a beef with money lenders?.... :Winky: Edit: Violence in the name of the church?....nothing new there then!
  9. After all...."The London Fire Brigade said it had not advised the authorities at St Paul's to close the cathedral for fire safety reasons, saying it was satisfied that there were "no fire safety concerns with the camp itself"......and of course "The cathedral refused to make public that advice or say who gave it". Surely then it can't have had anything to with their backers could it? Our Supporters Quite a list there, but here are a few highlights... Or of course their corporate partners... And why is it apparently opening again, given there is no real change in the physical situation?... Can it be because... Heaven forbid that they can't countenace tackling difficult issues can they....! So we have the perpetuators of one of the biggest fables in history in bed with some of those responsible for the biggest con in history... "Bring us your poor, your tired, your huddled masses"....because the corporate world needs cheap labour!....and we'll turn a blind eye and screw all of you as well - including the choir boys! Personally I would hope the protestors are using the steps of St Pauls for what they are there for - a urinal !
  10. No they wouldn't have the right to pay off one debt from another different banks account, but they will check on your financial history and possibly refuse a new account based on that debt... But it's always wise to have an alias.... :Winky: Edit: Barclays and Barclaycard are nominally independant, but there is a procedure known as ‘right of offset’ which they try and fool you with. However, if you dispute the debt they are not allowed to do a transfer whilst that dispute is in progress... Apparently you can withdraw your account money via a cashpoint as it is unaffected by online 'blocking', so it might be wise to get a hold of as much as you can (daily limit withstanding) as soon as you can. DJ will probably know more legally about this though...
  11. But that's my point ALL1... It doesn't matter who you bank with, because your banking history follows you wherever you go as they are all intrinsically linked! It's a cartel, and they play out the 'competition' game for fun! Oh, and as to the tent occupancy issue - don't believe the authority crap, as it's part of that same game... :Winky:
  12. There isn't a single bank (including the 'ethical' Co-op) that doesn't have a link with Barclays, since they are all tied together due to 'end of day' liquidity swaps... That's one of the reasons why there are all those tents outside St Paul's !

    been a while

I thought that is what SIA training is all about.... :Fun: Welcome back...
  14. List of Countries by external Debt Spot where the UK rates in the list...Especially when compared with Greece! We haven't been able to beg, steal or borrow a paddle for years!
  15. As I said... Replace Gaddafi with Blair or Bush...!
  16. Col Gaddafi killed: no mercy for a merciless tyrant Or as another report suggests...."Moments after he begged for his life he was shot like a dog in the streets". I'm sure there are some who might like to change the words 'Col Gaddafi' in that title to something like Blair or Bush....
  17. It seems centuries of open justice are about to change... No doubt these 'intelligence' services include the police (oxymoron alert!), or reports given to them, so if this is put in place then we would never get to hear about this: Police accused of allowing undercover officers to lie in court People will be jailed without seeing the evidence against them, and that evidence may well be a pack of lies... But then who's to know?....
  18. A million dollars for the op?... They seperate siamese twins for far less...
  19. Could our storecards replace the census? Plans unveiled to use data from shops, banks and estate agents Anyone with a storecard, or who gives accurate details unless absolutely necessary, is a mug...!
  20. For those who missed out on the delights of Viz... They do say that truth is stranger than fiction....well at least as strange, if this is true..* Man with giant testicles needs $1million op * before anyone else says it....it could be a load of b*llocks :Smiler:
  21. Road trains - that brings back memories... Always looked out for the fabled 5 trailer, but the longest I saw was 4.... Being overtaken by one is scary, even though this was just 3...I hope the roads are better now, as you just had to get half off it when one came thundering through!
  22. Hiya Spidey...welcome back (It's a sign that winter is nearly upon us when canadians come back indoors to their keyboards...lol)
  23. No, although that is equally prone to errors... What I was referring to is basically a 'best guess' approach when doing a DNA database search.
  24. People are often arrested just in order to take their DNA regardless of whether they are even questioned or not, but what people have to understand is the difference between a DNA match and an entry on a DNA database. When a crime is committed there will usually be a myriad of DNA lying around, especially when 'partial DNA sequencing' is being used....merely trying to match up the DNA of someone arrested to the DNA crime database causes so many false positives that the system becomes a vast waste of time. The majority of us have probably left their DNA at a 'crime scene', so how do we discriminate between an innocent and a possible perpetrator? Plod seems to think that if they go on 'fishing' missions, they will solve more crimes...unfortunately the 'clear up' rate for most serious crimes has steadily fallen (despite the headline 'successes') over the last two decades despite the 'wonders' of DNA - because plod has lost the art of real policing due to their reliance on technology...
  25. Where have you been during my rants over this for the last decade Jamer... :Fun:
