Clive, I would urge you to please have a re-think, you are a valued member on the pad you have been around here for years and I for one would not want to loose you as a member. Maybe take a week off and let things cool down. I am sure that we have all said things in hast in the past either on the forums or via emails or pm's and I am sure if sparks were still active he would also be adding his usual comments too, so some things have not changed. As for deleting accounts, I do not delete accounts, I also explained this to sparks, however, you can change you personal settings yourself within your profile so as you do not receive any notifications if you prefer. Over the years I have spent large sums of money and time on keeping JamersPad as up to date as possible, countless hours of work and at times when we were hacked. The Pad has been online now for 15 years, and yes we have seen members come and go but to be honest we have a core membership of loyal regular users and you fall within that group and while I appreciate you have remained loyal to sparks I am not convinced that he would of been as loyal to you. I value all our members and given the choice I would not want any of you to leave but that choice can only be down to the individual. I would just say sleep on it and I think you will find that it will all calm down, it usually does.

Okay folks lets calm it down now please and get on with getting back to normal. I will not tolerate abuse to other members as sometimes it goes to far!! We all have our own opinions. The forums are a lot more active since the date of sparks departure, now that may just be a coinisidence but over time we will see.

Well if you don't know by now but my GF is Polish. She gets a little annoyed as any trouble in the City and everyone says oh its Polish people, when half the time it's Lithuanian's, Romanian or lads from Russia. Polish and Czech I know are allowed to work within the UK where as Romanian, Russian and Bulgarians are not allowed unless they are self employed. Obviously most Russians are here illegally.

Okay, now sparks is having a go at me...so for the record here is the entire post that I removed as sparks thinks I have decided to selectively quote from his own censored topic for my own ends in his words?? I don't see how... I was asked by Alloneword to shed some light on the reasons. I only posted the main part that I felt needed removing but sparks would like me to post the whole topic, and as I explained to him that really defeats me removing it in the first place but ok here it is and he has also asked me to post all our pm's about this (PRIVATE messages!) but hey this is what he has asked so I will post those below for you all to see. I was exaggerating obviously, but my point was referring to people on the dole with half a dozen kids! Obviously genuine people fall on hard times from time to time and that in my opinion is where the social security comes into play! in this instance it's a great idea, I have no problem with that, just annoys me when I see how much I am paying in tax each month to then witness the same people in the pub week in and week out and yes these are parents with loads of kids! and this is how they can afford to be in the pub! because we are paying for the lazy sods! I think you should not be allowed to have kids unless you can afford to support them! trouble is in the UK the more kids you have the more benefit you can claim.
