  5. Cheers Sparks I'll check some of our pound shops, as i say I'm happy to use the new low power one in bedroom, living room etc but sometimes you need the instant light and hence the old ones work best, if i get no luck in pound shop I'll get the amazon one and stock up on a few boxes, I have one in hallway that's been there for about 12 years and i thought that was doing well, looks like i was wrong. All1
  6. The great EU :Furious: I don't like the clear one much at all do you know what i mean by the white ones, do you know what they are called (please don't tell me there white), I was looking at ebay number 250488545112, are they allowed to be sold via email? Looks like i may have to buy a few to keep me going. All1
  7. OK I know I'm not going mad but I'm sure i remember reading these things were going to be banned (ain't the UK great) I don't see them in supermarket anymore and want a few, I know i can get them on ebay but any chain stores still do em, B&Q etc. I have this low energy stuff for most rooms but want these type for bathroom and hallway. Oh and did those donkeys in New Labour bring this gold nugget of legal stuff in or was it the donkeys in the EU? All1
  8. NO m8 the day she is made KING Got more balls then anyone else IMO. All1
  9. Ronnie as for your posts being removed make sure your doing as the forum rules say, if your still unsure then PM the mods of that forum and if still no joy PM Jamer, there will be a reason for posts being removed, maybe you just posted in wrong forum, i've been here since year dot and i still screw up some times. One thing i will say is Sparks is right I'm out of work but never shown up on any unemployment figures for years, that's because I'm sick, so it is fiddling the figures to some degree, all parties have done it as far as i'm aware. As for not posting in response to sparks it's not the way to go engage with him and when he's wrong he will admit, he used to hate Mrs Thatcher bow he's signed up to her facebook page (we love Maggie one). All1
  10. We noticed.... So what's your crummy excuse then and if it ain't good enough Mr D and myself will work out the punishment :Winky: All1
  11. Ouch! Jesus i hate Black cab drivers scum of the earth IMO, my m8 was riding his week old bike a while ago and Black cab driver opened his door right in front of him, so there was me buddy sprawled out on the floor and all the cab driver done was check his cab door to check for damage. :Furious: I know m8 in old days if you didn't login for 24 hours you'd have 50 new messages not your luck to get that many in a week, real shame. :Hmm: All1
  12. Yea were still here, old farts together. Congrats on the degree etc as for Foggy not seen him in donkeys m8, much quieter nowadays. All1
  13. No direct help to you densh1 but when you have a quote you/kid likes then check out quidco.com and topcashback.co.uk as these will give you cashbash if you go via there link, i use it all the time for various bits and bobs and save a fair few quid, some months you get just a few quid back and others it can be hundreds (depends on what you buy) as i say no direct help but may recoup some of the cost. All1
  14. Kids, phew those days are long gone. Happy anniversary sparks (see told you had something in common with Maggie) :He-he: All1
  15. Bump, think it's Wednesday they become defunked. All1
  16. I don't know if your being sarcastic or not but anyway they have been in power for last 13 odd years and it was the one-eyed Scottish idiot (Brown if nobody can work it out) and Darling who borrowed the money, I'm sure we all agree we have to pay it back? So if i presume you agree we have to pay it back, then how would you deal with it? All1
  17. I did hear today on BBC news (had TV on in the background) that taking all this into account come the end of the life of this Govt we will STILL won't have got the debt down as all the money will be going on interest, so cut a long story were still no better off. I will catch news later to make sure i didn't hear it wrong but one thing that does worry me is "Housing Benefit" to be a max of £400 per week that may be fine outside london but just a quick bit of digging at findaproperty.com has come up with a 2 bed flat in SW8 (not the best part of London) for £400 a week now, I think that is the london borough of Lambeth, so what is a family with 3 or 4 kids to do if they live in that borough, you can presume there will be no local authority housing so they have to look at private sector, but they won't be able to find a 3 or 4 bed place for that £400 budget, can of worms comes to mind, i see why there doing it but could be problems. VAT, so long at it's not on food and basics in life then fine. IMO. No duty of fags or booze makes no odds as VAT will will just push it up, to be honest it's not as bad as i thought it could have been, i do think they should have gone further, I do think at the end of the day we (and many others) will have to renegotiate our debt repayment plan at some stage, we have no option. Oh yea anyone seen a one-eyed Scottish idiot lately? No didn't think so. :Winky: All1

  21. Your a legend DJ many thanks buddy. All1
  22. And we all know why that is, look back over last 13 years and it may give you a clue, IMO this country is f u c ked and the problem is most people have now idea how bad things are. £70 billion in interest ALONE in 5 years time, the debt is just crazy, expect duty to go even higher along with lots of other stuff. All1
  23. I remember seeing something a while ago about a transport/courier company where when they had spare space on a van you could book/use it that way making the cost a lot cheaper then using the van to just shift one item. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if so any idea of the company name or any other company that does something like this. All1
  24. Yes Mr D you are a big prick :He-he: All1
